How to convert a PDF to Word
- Open the PDF in AllofPDF.
- If it is a scan, run OCR first (built into Windows, free and offline) so the pages contain real, selectable text.

What to expect from the conversion
Word export rebuilds headings, paragraphs and reading order from the text in the PDF. It is designed for reusing content, not for pixel-perfect copies of complex layouts, so multi-column magazines or designed brochures may need some tidying in Word. If the numbers are what you need, convert the PDF to Excel instead; to present the pages, convert the PDF to PowerPoint; and for a picture of a page, convert the PDF to JPG or PNG. Scanned pages contain only images of text: run OCR first, otherwise there is nothing to export.
