Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AllofPDF desktop application for Windows, including updates (the “App”), and the website on which these Terms are published (the “Website”), both provided by ProjectTeamForYou (프로젝트팀포유), represented by Lee Yusang (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use them.
1. The App is free
The App is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, trial period, watermark or in-app advertising. We may add, change or remove features over time; if we ever introduce optional paid features, they will be clearly identified and will require your explicit purchase — features you already use for free will not be taken away retroactively without notice.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, educational or commercial purposes.
You may not, except to the extent permitted by applicable law or by an open-source license that applies to a specific component:
- sell, rent, lease or sublicense the App;
- redistribute modified installers, or bundle the App with other software or advertising;
- remove or alter copyright notices, signatures or license information;
- misrepresent the origin of the App or imply our endorsement; or
- use the App to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.
You may share the official download link freely.
3. Open-source components
The App includes open-source software, such as PDF.js (Apache-2.0), PDFium (BSD-3-Clause/Apache-2.0), Tauri (MIT/Apache-2.0) and lopdf (MIT). Each component is licensed under its own terms, which are listed on the Open-source licenses page and in the App. Where an open-source license grants you broader rights for a component, that license prevails for that component.
4. No account; your content
The App requires no account. Documents you open or create with the App (“Your Content”) remain yours. We claim no ownership of Your Content and, because it is processed locally, we do not access it. You are responsible for Your Content, for having the rights to process it, and for keeping your own backups.
5. AI features
- Local AI runs on your device. Cloud AI is optional and only operates after you enable it; when used, the text you select is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic, PBC) as described in our Privacy Policy, and you also agree not to use Cloud AI in violation of the provider’s acceptable-use rules.
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, even when accompanied by page citations. Always check the cited pages and do not rely on AI output as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
- Natural-language commands are shown as a preview before they are applied. You are responsible for reviewing the preview and the result.
- You must not use AI features to generate unlawful content or to process data you are not permitted to process.
6. Redaction and document integrity
True redaction is designed to permanently remove the selected content and associated data from the output file. However, PDF files vary widely, and no tool can guarantee a result in every case. Before sharing sensitive documents, verify the output (for example, with Document X-Ray and by searching for the removed text). Keep the original only where you intend to.
7. Updates
The App may check for and offer updates, including security fixes. Some updates may be necessary for the App to keep working correctly or securely. These Terms apply to all updates unless an update comes with separate terms. Updates are signed and verified before installation; the App may download them in the background, but installs them only after you confirm. Private Mode turns off all network access, including update checks.
8. The Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it in a way that burdens our infrastructure, or manipulate download statistics. The Website may in the future display clearly labelled advertising in designated areas; the App will never display advertising. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
9. Intellectual property
Except for open-source components and Your Content, the App and the Website, including their design, text, graphics and the “AllofPDF” name and logo, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name or logo except to refer to the App accurately.
10. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve our products without obligation to you.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and the Website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will process every file correctly.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the App or the Website. Because the App is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the App or the Website is limited to USD 50 (or its equivalent in local currency).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights granted to you by the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence (including in the EU, the UK and the Republic of Korea), and these Terms do not affect those rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 3, 4, 6 and 9 to 15 survive termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The Seoul Central District Court has jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. Before filing a claim, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, give notice on the Website or in the App at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days where the change is unfavourable to you and the law requires it). If you continue to use the App after the changes take effect, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the App and uninstall it.
16. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and the Website. If translations of these Terms differ, the version in your language applies to the extent required by law; otherwise the English version prevails.
